What Is the 1:1 Aspect Ratio?

The 1:1 aspect ratio is the simplest one there is - a perfect square. Width and height are identical, so a 500px wide image at 1:1 is exactly 500px tall. No math required, really, but it's helpful to have a quick reference when you're resizing batches of images or setting up design templates.
